SUMMARY

The Business Development Agent works as part of the sales staff; primarily seeking out new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential clients for project related work around the country.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Be the “First Contact” for projects and prospects to identify and engage in new business opportunities.
  • Be self-driven to develop leads and marketing campaigns to gain access to project related work.
  • Gain access to pre-qualification requirements, direct those through the OM system to completion and following up to received bid documents.
  • Bring Omega Morgan Team to the client to offer the full extent of the portfolio of services available to support project work.
  • Must be extremely detail oriented.
  • Pro-active approach to problem solving.
  • Report to the VP of Sales on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis on pipeline of opportunities and stages of advancement.

Required Education and/or Experiences 

  • Bachelors Degree preferred, or 3-5 years of experience in sales and business development roles
  • Microsoft Office programs, experience in Customer Resource Management (CRM) programs
  • Track Record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
